For students who have already developed basic skills on the ukulele, this course will focus on the creative aspects of musicianship: composition, arranging, and interpretation. Students will have the opportunity to pick a song of their own choice and will work on arranging it for solo ukulele playing, as well as writing their own songs. More complex elements of music will be explored in this course, such as scales, construction of chords, more complex rhythms, and ear training.
