LEVEL 2 Wine Online with Tasting Kit
Course runs October 3 – November 7, 2023

Live Webinars: Tuesdays 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 and 11/07 from 1pm-2:30pm ET.

Can’t attend? Webinars can also be accessed in recorded form at any time 24/7 during the 6-week session.

Exam will be online November 12, 2023 at noon ET, or can be arranged in person at a later date.

If you know the basic wine grapes—that Chardonnay is a white wine and Cabernet Sauvignon is usually red—then begin at Level 2. This beginner to intermediate wine course offers greater breadth and depth of material, and more tasting opportunities than Level 1. It’s for anyone who:

  • Works in wine or who want a career in the industry

  • Has a serious interest in deepening their wine knowledge

  • Wishes to become a more confident wine taster

This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.
