New England Jazz Collaborative Presents Blues on the Corner: McCoy Tyner Legacy Band featuring Francisco Mela, Gerald Cannon

World-renowned drummer and former McCoy Tyner sideman Francisco Mela joins forces with bassist and fellow McCoy alumnus Gerald Cannon to pay tribute to their legendary mentor and former bandleader.
Rounding out this all-star trio is Venezuelan-American pianist Benito Gonzalez, widely hailed as the torchbearer for McCoy’s harddriving yet lyrical style. Tenor titan George Garzone will be a featured guest, heard here like never before.
