Cake Decorating *In-Person*

Learning the art of cake decoration is a wonderful way to impress friends and family with gorgeous cakes for all occasions. Join award-winning cake decorator, Sandra Frezza, to learn how to prepare icing, color, level, fill and frost a cake. We’ll start with different piping techniques including stars, rosettes, shells, drop flowers and leaves. Then you will decorate your own cake with guidance from Sandra. Bring a 6, 7, or 8 inch unfrosted single layer cake to class and a box or cake carrier to transport your finished cake. Icing and tools to use in class will be supplied. You’ll take home instructions and decorating tools including tips, bags, couplers and a cake circle.

Sandra Frezza
Sandra Frezza is an award winning cake artist. She is the owner and operator of Sandra’s Sweet Sensations in Boston, Massachusetts. She thoroughly enjoys bringing her creative vision to life through her Specialty Cakes, Cupcakes, and Cookies. Sandra also loves being able to share her knowledge with others. She is an International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES) Approved Teacher as well as a Certified Wilton Cake Decorating Instructor. Sandra was inducted into the Wilton Hall of Fame in 2013. She has been teaching private, school based and community education classes in various mediums (buttercream, fondant & gum paste) for several years. In addition to Wilton Courses, she has been trained in Cake & Sugar Art by Certified Master Sugar Artists through ICES. She travels to a number of Cake Shows and ICES Conventions and has taken many classes throughout the country to improve her skills and feed her passion. She has also demoed and taught at various Cake Shows. Sandra has recently served as a Judge at a Local Cake Show. She also has an MBA in International Business and has had an extensive career in Accounting & Finance. She currently holds the position of Massachusetts & New Hampshire ICES State Representative currently serving her 4th term. Sandra is also involved with Icing Smiles which is nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child.
