2025-26 Concerts Celebrate Legendary American Songwriters

CAMBRIDGE, MA – October 23, 2025 – American Classics is pleased to announce its 29th concert season, a series of performances dedicated to songwriters who crafted both the words and the music for their works. The season will feature three unique concerts celebrating the works of iconic American composers.

The season begins with  “All in One – Berlin & Porter,” a tribute to Irving Berlin and Cole Porter, on Friday, November 14, at 7:30 pm at First Church Congregational in Cambridge, and on Sunday, November 16, at 3:00 pm at First Parish Church in Bedford. This performance will feature singers Grace AllendorfBradford ConnerChristina EnglishSarah KornfeldRobert SaoudMarcus Schenck, and Benjamin Sears, with JoAnne Dickinson as reader and Steve Sussman on piano.

The series continues with a concert celebrating Stephen SondheimFrank LoesserJohnny Mercer, and others, on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 7:30 pm in Cambridge, and Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 3:00 pm in Bedford. The performers will include Grace AllendorfErin AndersonBradford ConnerBrian De Lorenzo, Todd McNeil, Jr., Julia Nelson, Dan Perry, Ethan Sagin, and Benjamin Sears, with Catherine Stornetta on piano.

The final concert of the season will honor Jerry HermanMeredith WillsonDolly PartonJoni Mitchell, and more. It will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 7:30 pm in Cambridge, and Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 3:00 pm in Bedford. This performance will feature Bradford ConnerJean DantonMichelle DeluiseWes HunterCaryn MayBrandon MilardoCynthia MorkCarolyn Saxon, and Benjamin Sears, with Steve Sussman on piano.

All performances will be held at First Church Congregational (11 Garden Street, Cambridge, MA) and First Parish Church (75 Great Road, Bedford, MA), both of which are wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $25 (seniors/students) to $30.  For tickets and information, visit amclass.org.
