The Painted Burro began in Somerville’s Davis Square in 2012 and has two more
locations in Waltham and Harvard Square, as well as two locations of its smaller sister
restaurant, Burro Bar, in Brookline and Boston’s South End. Davis Square’s Posto is also
a part of the Alpine Restaurant Group family.

Featuring an exciting seasonal menu that highlights the diverse cuisines of Latin
America, alongside a variety of margaritas, local beers and select wines. From our
wonderfully flavored moles to our selection of grilled meats and fish to our extensive
list of over 100 craft tequilas the goal at The Painted Burro is to impart our local
chef-driven styles into modern interpretations of Latin American cuisine with a strong
respect for tradition.
