💬 From the Organizers
“Harvard has always been a place where new ideas, people, innovation, and history
intertwine,” says Sean Hope, owner of DX Brands. “The People’s Party is about
amplifying the diversity and cultural relevance of Harvard Square — a gathering
place for all.”

“The People’s Party is an essential community tradition,” adds Edgard Arty. “It
revitalizes spirit, fosters connection, and celebrates one of Cambridge’s most iconic
cultural hubs.”

Denise Jillson, Executive Director of the Harvard Square Business Association,
shares:
“We’re thrilled to partner with The People’s Party team. This event truly embodies
the spirit of our outdoor festivals — eclectic music, curated vendors, delicious food,
and a safe, welcoming atmosphere.”

The People’s Party honors Harvard Square’s rich history while embracing the present, inviting
guests from all backgrounds to experience local culture at its finest — from music and food to
small businesses, community organizations, and live art.

📈 Expanding the Movement
This year, The People’s Party proudly expands its vendor marketplace with leadership from
Select Markets, a vintage pop-up founded by Northeastern students Joaquin Crosby-Lizarde
and Josh Maizes.

“We launched Select to bring fun, accessible, and inclusive activities to Boston,”
they share. “Being part of The People’s Party is about spreading the love of fashion
and promoting community.”

Sheldon Gray, founder of Dive Bar Caviar, adds:

“Our mission is to amplify the voices of creatives and have an astounding
experience— My mission is to push local artist talent to showcase their astounding
talents such as YoTron Don & Questnine and many more in queue. With The
Boston Globe, Boston.com & B-Side as our media leaders, this celebration has the
reach and power to truly unite what I feel passionate about – The People.”

This is more than a block party — it’s a movement, a tradition, and a celebration of a
vibrant, evolving community.
