TEDDY BEARS ON DISPLAY PARTY WITH SANTA, CAROLING & TREATS

The Harvard Square Business Association (HSBA), in partnership with the Salvation Army, invites you to celebrate the season with a festive holiday party featuring teddy bears decked out in their finest attire!  Dozens of volunteers from Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington and neighboring communities have dressed up Teddy Bears in wedding gowns, tutus, fireman’s uniforms, jammies and other costumes, including Spider Man, Superman, and even Santa Claus!  These lovable bears will go home to more than 350 area youngsters this Christmas….but before they do, they’ll be on display in the heart of Harvard Square.

We are also delighted to announce that despite his busy schedule, Santa Claus will be joining us and will merrily meet and pose for pictures with children of all ages.

Attendees at the Teddy Bear Party will enjoy delicious complimentary hot chocolate graciously donated by our friends at Kennedy’s on the Square (15 Dunster Street).  Serenading the crowd again this year will be Harvard Square’s very own Victorian Carolers from Cambridge Historical Tours.

The HSBA staff will be on hand to accept non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army food pantry, which will assist local families in need this Christmas.

We look forward to seeing you for merrymaking and holiday reverie this Sunday!
