It is with great sadness that we share this announcement from todays’ Boston Globe on the passing of our dear friend and long-time member, Charlie Davidson.
As many of you know, Charlie presided over the Andover Shop on Holyoke Street since 1953, where he charmed everyone.
“Last Friday, at our December board meeting, a moment of silence was held and with spontaneous enthusiasm, several people shared their favorite “Charlie” stories. Charlie Davidson was a one-of-kind, beloved, respected and admired Harvard Square proprietor, denizen and icon. He will be dearly missed”, said Denise Jillson, Executive Director of the Harvard Square Business Association
