LE:60 Film Festival

100 minutes like you’ve never seen…
THE LE:60 1-MINUTE FILM FEST
OCTOBER 4TH

The Lumiere brothers are credited with the first public film screening. Their films ran an averaged 46 seconds: our festival’s tiny masterworks come in at 60 seconds apiece. They only had ten films to show that day in 1895: we have over 100! Not to oversell it, but if the Lumiere’s could see Le:60 Film Fest – their twin moustaches would explode into flames simultaneously.

Guidelines for the evening include: exuberance, effulgence, and irrepressible giddiness. Local Boston band PANTS YELL! Will perform and poor Palmer Street will creak like the floorboards of a nightclub.

Date: Saturday, October 4, 2008
Time: 5:30 – 10:00 PM
Place: Palmer Street | Harvard Square | Cambridge

Live DJ to kick-off the event at 5:30 PM. Union Square Round Table to MC. PANTS YELL! will perform sets throughout the night, culminating in a live performance at the end of the night that is sure to be the cherry on the Le:60 sundae.
