The Harvard Coop, in partnership with the Harvard Square Business Association, welcomes you to join their 140th birthday celebration and the reopening of their newly renovated store with a series of weekend events. Free prizes, games and snacks, live music, mystery discounts and self-guided tours of their refurbished space including the iconic staircase and new artwork await you!

On Friday, September 10th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the Coop will host a local and faculty authors reception that “calls all writers” to meet and mingle with the COOP’s book buyers and event planners on the most beautiful bookstore mezzanine in town.
Whether you are interested in promoting your book, have a desire to take a “shelfie”, or would like to give your input on their selection and your ideas for future events, this is the time to come visit. They want to engage with you, and continue to build community, breadth, and diversity in their book stacks.
On Saturday, September 11th from noon until 4:30 p.m. outdoor festivities, a fabulous Party on Palmer!
