Harvard Book Store and the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute welcome Serhii Plokhy, professor of Ukrainian history at Harvard University and author of Chernobyl Roulette for a discussion of The Nuclear Age: An Epic Race for Arms, Power and Survival, which reveals the fear that governs the proliferation of nuclear weapons, profiles the global players who have diagnosed, stoked, and influenced this fear, and outlines what we might learn from our past to control today’s arms race. He will be joined in conversation by Harvard doctoral candidate Mykhailo Soldatenko, an international legal scholar and attorney in Ukraine and New York.
