About

Reed and Stewart formed the nationally touring band Acoustic Junction and have since broke into solo careers. Reed’s intimate americana-folk has earned him tours with fellow songwriters Gregory Alan Isakov, Todd Snider, and Anais Mitchell. Stewart’s soulful blend of pop and folk have put him on stages supporting Andy Grammer, Shawn Colvin, and Mat Kearney. The show features a set from each, then ending in a collaborative “brother harmony” send off.

Effective August 6, 2021, Passim will require all staff, performers, and patrons to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine when they work, attend performances, classes, and workshops at Passim.  Patrons will be asked to show their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card when they enter the club.  Patrons will be asked to show proof each time they visit the club. If a patron is not able to show proof of vaccination they will not be allowed to attend the performance, and their ticket purchase will be refunded.

During COVID, Passim has invested in its live stream capability, and we encourage patrons who have not been vaccinated or others who don’t feel comfortable yet visiting the club to watch the live streams or attend online classes instead. If you purchased a ticket but aren’t feeling well, please stay home and watch the livestream instead.

Passim recommends that all non-performers wear masks indoors unless they are actively eating or drinking.

Passim is committed to providing a safe environment for all to work, listen, and enjoy live music.  It is our hope that we can ease these restrictions once further progress has been made reducing transmission of the virus.  Until then, we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

REED FOEHL

Born into a musical family, Reed grew up in  a small country town in New England, listening to his parent’s bluegrass band rehearse in the living room every Thursday night for all of his childhood.

From there Reed took to the streets at the early age of 11 performing at Boston’s own Fanuel hall marketplace. He then became the front man for the band Acoustic Junction which toured for ten years nationwide and eventually signed with Capricorn/Mercury records. In 2001 he began his solo career with the release of “Spark” which put him on the map in the publishing world, garnering placements in both film and television. His 4th solo album, “Lost In The West” was released in 2014, which led him to tour with Gregory Alan Isakov, Todd Snider, and Anais Mitchell, to name a few. Recently nominated for a grammy for his song “fly” which was covered by the country legend “Lee Ann Womack”.  Dusty and patient his music is genuine Americana,  telling stories of the human condition with lyric and a voice that push the boundaries while paying homage to tradition.  2018 is shaping up to be a big year for Reed as he plans to release his 5th solo record.  Stay tuned.
