You’re invited to REBEL with us this summer. On August 3, we’re hosting a street party that’s equal parts celebration and creative resistance—right outside our gallery in the heart of Harvard Square.

There’s no perfect time to rebel, so we’re making our own.

Join us for an afternoon of live performances, hands-on art activities, open mics, magic shows, music, and community gathering. This is a come-as-you-are, drop-in-anytime event built around care, visibility, and joy.

Launching: Behind VA Shadows Printed Catalog

We’re proud to release the first-ever Behind VA Shadows printed catalog, a limited-edition publication documenting the community and advocacy work we’ve built since late 2021. This catalog highlights the creative lives of frontline museum workers and the support systems we’ve nurtured together.

Co-edited by our longtime caretaker Yolanda He Yang and designer Wenbin Wei, each copy was handcrafted by our volunteer crew over the past year. It’s part time capsule, part call to action.

Pre-orders are open now, but supplies are limited.
