A full day of student recitals to raise funds for NSM scholarships
What is the Performathon?
The NSM Performathon is our annual fundraising and performance extravaganza!
How can YOU get involved?
- Participate in recital! Your music is a gift to all of us. We’d love to hear what you’ve been working on!
- Help us award lots and lots of need-based scholarships by asking your friends and family to sponsor your performance! Gifts to NSM can be dedicated to a student or a teacher.
- Watch a recital! Support your friends and family by attending their recital at NSM.
- Bring a nut-free goody or a beverage to share at your post-concert reception in Room B!
How does my gift help?
Funds raised during the Performathon go toward our Scholarship Fund, which enables NSM to give out more than $10,000 in need-based scholarships each year. Additionally, funds will go toward necessary upkeep of NSM’s instruments and building to make it a joyous, safe, and comfortable place for music-making!
What’s the schedule on Sunday, April 7?
The schedule is below, subject to change and possibly expand! Join your fellow performers for a post-concert celebration and reception in Room B following your recital.
10 – 10:45am Jennifer Burks’ Studio
11 – 11:45am Open to all NSM students!
12 – 12:45pm Open to all NSM students!
1 – 1:45pm TWEEN/TEEN recital
2 – 2:45pm ADULT recital
3 – 3:45pm Open to all NSM students!
The deadline to sign up for the Performathon is Friday, March 29th.
