About

ARTISTRY. IDENTITY. ADVOCACY.

“Artists have a really bad habit of being resilient.”  –Toni Morrison

Choreographers and dancers are problem-solvers. They move through crises rather than around them. Join us this spring for community gatherings with Harvard Dance Center’s exceptional teaching artists in a series of artist-led dialogues that explore how artistry, identity, and advocacy takes shape in turbulent times.

THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 4-5PM EST
Dialogue facilitated by Nailah Randall-Bellinger with Dance Center teaching artists.

THURSDAY, APRIL 1, 4-5PM EST
Dialogue facilitated by Tarikh Campbell with Dance Center teaching artists.

FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 4-5PM EST
Dialogue facilitated by Jill Johnson with returning visiting artists.

All talks will be live via Zoom meeting and open to the public. More details coming soon.

Access provided: Closed captioning. Please contact dance@fas.harvard.edu if you anticipate needing another type of access.

Spring 2021 Artist Talks are supported by The Office for the Arts (OFA).
