On Thursday, July 28, celebrate the launch of Madame de Pompadour: Painted Pink at an extra special Harvard Art Museums at Night!
Free and open to everyone, the evening will feature pink-themed activities, leading visitors to discover the night’s special color throughout the museums. We’ll be giving away copies of our newest book, Madame de Pompadour: Painted Pink, to those wearing their best pink outfit—creativity encouraged! Additionally, pink-inspired food and drink will be available for purchase, all set against the smooth sounds of Boston’s own DJ C-Zone.
Bring your friends to mingle in the Calderwood Courtyard, chat over a snack or drink at Jenny’s Cafe, browse the shop, and of course, wander the galleries to take in our world-class collections of art.
Explore our special exhibitions Prints from the Brandywine Workshop and Archives: Creative Communities, White Shadows: Anneliese Hager and the Camera-less Photograph, Crossroads: Drawing the Dutch Landscape, and Earthly Delights: 6,000 Years of Asian Ceramics.
After you’ve browsed the galleries, circle back to see what’s happening in the courtyard.

Each night will feature a new mix of local talent and community partners to make this a festive occasion for all.
