Cine-città: Two Films on Love and Power in the Shadow of Confinement at CCAE

We will discuss Paolo Sorrentino’s Le conseguenze dell’amore (2004) and Giuseppe Tornatore’s L’offerta migliore (2013). Unpredictable, thought-provoking, and visually innovative, these two films about confinement will provide the basis for our discussions of love, power, and the scope of personal choice in the modern world. Students of all levels of Italian are welcome as long as they are prepared to immerse into the language. Instructor: Maria Grazia Lolla
