The Harvard / MIT Coop happily announces the return of COOP KIDS Events, live and in-person!
11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Based upon the generous and positive feedback we have received from our favorite authors, new friends, and from our loyal customers, its time to bring back what we have missed so much……connectivity and discovery, in real life!
This is an OUTDOOR event, to be held on Palmer Street. In the event of inclement weather, families can pick up their Craft Kits to take home to assemble! Each sturdily packed kit will come with complete, customized instructions. Costumes encouraged, but not required!
Appropriate for age 8 and under. Attendance is limited and TICKETS are required (One ticket per FAMILY).
This event is brought to you by The Harvard Coop and The Harvard Square Business Association.
Tickets to reserve your spot are just $5.00 per family (no additional fees). What your ticket includes:
- Each family (one ticket per family) will receive an individually boxed “Spooky Spoon” craft kit (a $10.00 value), which will include enough materials for two crafters (a child and caregiver; or 2 children). Your “Spooky Spoons” can then be used as puppets, front lawn stakes, or in a Halloween centerpiece. Alex will be on hand to direct you to a spot to get crafting, and to engage and inspire all. Kids will build skills along the way, and all art materials will be theirs to keep. The kit box can be decorated as well, and used to transport your creation home!
“Alex’s interactive crafting is personalized, positive, and phenomenal!”
- Communal Sidewalk Chalk Challenge….Help us create the most SPOOKTACULAR sidewalk art on Palmer Street for all to enjoy.
- And, more supplies will be on hand to make a Big Halloween Flag Banner for display in the COOP window.
- $5.00 Off COOP Coupon, valid with the purchase of any Children’s Book at the Harvard Square Coop. Coupon expires November 6th, 2021.
