Performance by artist Yolanda He Yang at 25/8 artspace

Mark your calendar!! As part of our program to activate Brett Angell’s ongoing solo exhibition “Night Studio”, we are happy to announce the performance by artist Yolanda He Yang at 8 pm on May 10th. As a multimedia artist, Yolanda is passionate about transforming urban spaces with light installations and body movement. Using her “fluxus” blend of light, sound, and motion, she will invite audiences to experience “Night Studio” through her imaginative lens. Please join us and spend a special Friday night together “Night Studio” will be on view till May 24th.

About the artist (@yolandaheyang_arts): Fusing photography, body movement, performance, video, and sculpture, Yolanda’s installations delve into the hidden layers of emotion embedded within aspects of the optical experience. She seeks to offer poetic presentations that invite the viewer to experience space as it exists beyond its surface appearance and to suggest the total rupture of boundaries imposed between inside and outside, space and time.
