Boloco will be debuting a new shake for Boloco’s 16th Birthday, the cake shake. As a promotion, for Boloco Harvard only, to commemorate the Oscars (with the Oscars showing in our dining room of course), we will be offering our new cake shake in the mini size at 1 dollar per shake after 5 o’clock.

Brattle Theatre
Brattle Theatre will be hosting their our annual Oscar Party at the Brattle on Sunday. The Brattle will be screening the telecast free for all Brattle members, plus a guest, on Sunday night. Doors open at 8:00. This event does sell out so a RSVP is necessary.
The Brattle also hosts a special pre-party fundraiser that evening. The Pre-Party runs from 5:30-7:30 and tickets are $75. Pre-party includes complimentary cocktails, food donated by Cambridge restaurants such as Henrietta’s Table and Harvest and a great silent auction! And you are welcome to stay for free to watch the telecast.

For any last minute Oscar party online or social media coverage this week, we wanted to share Sweet’s Academy Awards cupcakes and customer Oscar contest, with a chance to win 24 cupcakes!
This Saturday and Sunday, while classic Oscar-winning films play on Sweet’s in-store TVs, Academy Awards specialty toppers for Best Picture nominees, golden statues, mini-tuxes and sidewalk stars are available a-top select winter flavors at all locations, as well as for advance purchase online for $4.25 each.

In addition, this Saturday and Sunday all Sweet stores will have Oscar ballots for customers to fill out their predictions, and after Sunday’s telecast, the contest winner(s) who have the most correct entries will receive 24 (to reflect the number of award categories) cupcakes of their choice to be delivered to the location of their choice (within Boston and Cambridge) on Tuesday, February 26!
