Bastille Day in Harvard Square

Featuring Music, Lights, Children’s Events, French Food, Beer Garden, and Dancing in the Street from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

The region’s largest Bastille Day celebration, free and open to the public, takes place on Holyoke Street in Harvard Square, Cambridge!

Celebrate with a shady beer garden and exciting food and product vendors all day long.

Enjoy a traditional waiters race (La Course des Garçon de Café) along Holyoke Street (Grand Prize is 2 Free Round Trip Jet Blue Tickets).

Dance under twinkling lights to just what the kids are listening to in the streets of Paris with DJ Kamal from the Boston French Party.

3:00 – 5:00 Children’s Event: Face Painting, Flag Making, Chalk Art, Kid-friendly Food, Jugglers, Magicians, and Balloon Art.

5:00 French Children’s Parade led by Curious George.

5:15 Traditional French Waiters Race (La Course des Garçon de Café).

5:30 – 8:00 Dinner and Dancing featuring performances by:

Sandrine’s Bistro is our culinary and cultural co-host for this event and we are pleased to announce that Chez Henri, Brasserie Jo, the Elephant Walk, Rialto, and Petit Robert will be joining them in providing traditional French Food outside on Holyoke Street for the evening!
