About

BroadBand specializes in nuanced producing and multi-perspective program design, sophisticated project management, and strategic organizational development.  We are passionate about artistic work that bridges the local and global, illuminates unexpected connections, and broadens perspectives.

With over 50 years of combined experience working at the intersection of artistic creation, learning and culture, BroadBand is fundamentally about the power of three different perspectives to support and enlarge possibilities for artists and communities.  We use elastic and flexible thinking, the ability to move between cultures, and enthusiasm and dedication to problem solving and forging unexpected connections.

BroadBand was created by Cristin Canterbury Bagnall, Sara Stackhouse and Lori Taylor to meet the complex needs of artists, organizations and institutions who need an experienced team to help them design, connect with and navigate multi-faceted projects, a new context or next strategic move.  BroadBand helps artists and organizations thrive.

We launched a product on December 10, Latitudes, a virtual performance series.  We are selling it online for the holidays and in some HS and area stores.  Would love to promote on gifts.  I attached photos and here is a description:

Welcome to Latitudes, a virtual performance series of eight (8) virtual performance experiences, each with live a talk-back. The series will stream every two weeks on Thursdays, 7:30pm EDT from Jan 28-May 6, 2021, and can be viewed from anywhere!  Events will be available for on-demand viewing for three days after premieres.

Premiers January 28 at 7:30pm EDT with pipa virtuoso Wu Man, and continuing every two weeks on Thursday evenings through May 5, 2021, with additional evenings created and performed by (in order) composer and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh, cellist Karen Ouzounian, violin/vox/freestyle composition artist Mazz Swift, literary performer Regie Gibson, violinist/erhu player Shaw Pong Liu, indigenous theater artist Ty Defoe and producer Siobhan Brown, and composer, storyteller and musician Guy Mendilow. Events will be available for three days after premiere for on demand viewing.

Latitudes brings together this group of extraordinary artists from different backgrounds and artistic disciplines who are creating intimate, and relevant artistic experiences for the virtual performance space, each made in response to this moment of global isolation to keep us connected and inspired through the dark winter.

Series subscribers receive a Latitudes Gift Bag, which includes a set of beautiful artist cards detailing each unique, intimate, artistic event, as well as information on how to activate the subscription and receive access to event links.
