Harvard Square is overjoyed at the return of its favorite monkey!
The Harvard Square Business Association is pleased to welcome Curious George back to the Square. Adam Hirsch, Owner of the World’s Only Curious George Store --Harvard Square shares his thoughts.
“With the support of the Cambridge and H. Square community, HSBA, City of Cambridge, and Harvard University, my wife and I are excited to help bring Curious George back to the Square.
We hope you will love the new store. The signage and facade will be completely new, and the store will be completely rebuilt to honor the tradition and curious nature of the world's most popular monkey, bringing to life many favorite characters from the classic books and acclaimed TV series, while creating a modern and easily navigable space.
Additionally, the store's name has changed slightly to, The World's Only Curious George Store -- Harvard Square, which reflects the unique nature of the store, and the uniqueness of the merchandise inside the store and on our website.
From t-shirts, bibs, onesies, juice cups to other gift ideas, you will find unique merchandise designs available no where else on earth except in our store or on our website. And, of course, much of the store is dedicated to the full line of CG books and many other favorite children's book titles.
We will constantly update our merchandise, and offer products that are relevant to local community members and visitors to the Square. We promise many exciting surprises as we launch, and look forward to engaging with our patrons through all preferred mediums, including social networking, email and great customer service.
