Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site is a unit of the U.S. National Park System that preserves the home that served as George Washington’s headquarters during the Siege of Boston and later as the home of noted 19th-century poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The site includes a fully furnished historic house museum and offers free ranger-led tours and family programming seasonally, as well as a summer arts festival, fall lecture series, and holiday programming.
