Passim Announces New Executive Director

Executive Director Announcement!

Dear Passim Community,

On behalf of the Passim Board, I’m thrilled to share the news that after an extensive national search, we’ve selected Michael Busack as our new Executive Director. Michael officially begins on March 17, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for arts, community, and live music.

Michael comes to us from his current role as Museum Director of the Trustees of Reservations’ (The Trustees) museums, including Fruitlands Museum (Harvard, MA), deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln, MA), and the Old Manse (Concord, MA). He has a proven track record of success leading non-profit arts organizations and his career includes building community connections, curating performance series, and championing arts education. Michael’s love for folk music and his commitment to fostering inclusivity and connection through music make him a natural fit to lead Passim into the future.

Of his new leadership position, Michael told us, “I’m deeply honored and humbled to join the Club Passim family and thrilled to embrace the legacy of this iconic institution as they shape a bright and inclusive future for folk music.”

Please join us in welcoming Michael to our Passim community!

Regards,
Annie Bartlett, Passim Board Chair
