ROCK, HONK, DANCE, PARADE, PEACE OUT, PICK A PUMPKIN and BRING YOUR MAMA to Oktoberfest for dancing in the streets and in the crosswalks throughout HARVARD SQUARE!
20007 HIGHLIGHTS
- The first HUGE New England performance of "Our Town" by Steve Smith from Dirty Vegas
- A Parade of HONK BANDS and BREAD & PUPPET THEATER PEOPLE and an entourage of WALKERS, SKATERS, BIKERS will arive in Harvard Square and pass muster at the "Reviewing" Stand Hosted by our very own CLICK AND CLACK of CAR TALK
- A "PEACE IN"and A "PUMPKIN PATCH" and an entire Stage of MOM BANDS WHO ROCK!!!
Harvard Square’s Oktoberfest features six stages of live entertainment, music, dance, art, street performers and 200+ stalls of artisans and merchants. Oktoberfest is the ultimate "taste of" event where one can sample international cuisines, festival favorites, and delicious desserts. Enjoy a view of the main stage from the Sam Adam’s/ Grafton Street Beer Garden in front of Out of Town News.
