Taste of Cambridge is the ONLY TASTE OF EVENT in Cambridge and will take place on both the Upper and Lower Courtyards on the Charles Hotel
This year’s event beneficiaries are The Salvation Army Cambridge/Somerville Corps “Restoring Lives Capital Campaign” and Cambridge Program/Special Olympics: Saturday Program.
On June 23, 2011, several thousand people will descend on the upper and lower courtyards at the Charles Hotel to sample culinary delights from over 55 Cambridge restaurants. “In addition to its world class shops and cultural activities, Cambridge has long been regarded as a center of culinary excellence. We are thrilled and excited to invite everyone to join us in feasting on food and libations from your favorite establishments and restaurants that you have yet to explore”, said Denise Jillson, co-chair of the event and Executive Director of the Harvard Square Business Association.
In addition to diverse, international fare, Taste of Cambridge boasts several beer and wine tents (included in the price of admission), a brass band, and a VIP area. This year, the VIP area will feature a pig roast, passed hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, and a specialty cocktail station featuring concoctions created by Cambridge’s renowned mixologists in a festive tiki area. Come and vote for your favorite!
Tickets for this event may be purchased for $50 in advance at www.tasteofcambridge.com or $60 at the door. VIP tickets are $75. Tickets for children aged 6 – 12 years are $15.
