    This summer,
Sprint Nextel and Vespa USA have joined forces to launch “Green on the Go,” aPreview mobile green awareness tour highlighting Sprint’s phone recycling efforts as part of their Buyback program and Vespa USA’s Vespanomics program. Cambridge is the fifth stop on the tour.  In addition, Starbucks will be on hand giving away free samples of ice cold VIA and other freebies.

    At the event, consumers can:

o   Trade in their old or unused phones to be recycled to see whether they can earn an instant credit toward the purchase of a new device or donate their phone through Project Connect.

o   Demo Sprint’s first eco-friendly Androidpowered device – the Samsung Replenish made partially from recycled materials and recyclable packaging.

o   Participate in a Vespa photo experience.
