Young MayFair Dancer to Sell Bracelets to Benefit Japan

Young Mayfair dancer, Haley Kwoun will be selling her beaded bracelets in front of the Dance Stage at Mayfair to support The Boston Foundation’s Japanese Disaster Relief Fund.

Haley Kwoun is nine years old, lives in Winchester and is a third-grader at the Shady Hill School in Cambridge. She dances with the Deborah Mason School of Dance in North Cambridge. Deborah and dozens of dancers at the school are supporting Haley’s efforts to raise money for Japan relief by helping her make and sell her beautiful beaded bracelets. Although individually designed, each one is bedecked with a large round red center bead, symbolizing Japan.

When she is not performing on the dance stage at Harvard Square’s 28th Annual Mayfair, Haley will be selling her bracelets, as well as accepting donations. If you cannot attend Mayfair and are interested in donating, please contact: haleyjapanrelief@gmail.com.

The Harvard Square Business Association is pleased to support Haley’s efforts. We hope you will too. For additional information about Haley’s project, please click here:
