On Friday, March 4th, at approximately 9: 00 pm, just outside the Out of Town News Kiosk at Zero Brattle Street, two fabulous a capella groups totaling 26 singers will entertain visitors with their unique mix of harmony and humor.  MIT’s Logarhythms, an all-male a cappella group, will perform with their female counterparts, Drew University’s On A Different Note.

Since 1949, the "Logs" have entertained audiences around the world.  Their repertoire includes contemporary songs from all genres: classic rock, current pop, even a little R&B and rap. They pride themselves on their energetic performances, and innovative and complex arrangements. The group of 16 guys has earned national distinction as of late, with their three most recent CD's - "Soundproof," "Natural," and "Give Us Back Our Spyplane" - receiving some of the best reviews from the Recorded A Cappella Review Board (RARB) ever given for collegiate recordings. Furthermore, four of their tracks have been selected to the Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) compilation CDs. They have recently gone on tour in Florida, New York, Ohio, California, and London.

On A Different Note (OADN) is Drew University's only all-female a cappella group. With about 12 members, they perform both on-campus and at various community events and private functions. Their repertoire includes pop, rock, folk, and soul. OADN loves to meet and perform with other college groups, and their annual spring break tour has included performances at other universities and public and private functions, in addition to workshops with students throughout Southern California. OADN looks forward to other travel and performance opportunities in the future.
