    The 28th Annual Oktoberfest was a smashing success.

    The 28th Annual Oktoberfest in Harvard Square - Sunday, October 8th from 12 - 6:00 pm announces entertainment in the crosswalks!

    Oktoberfest features six stages of live entertainment, music, dance, art, street performers and 200+ artisans and merchants offering handmade, vintage, recycled, costume, antique, and sidewalk sale items. Oktoberfest is the ultimate "taste of" event where one can sample international cuisines, festival favorites, and delicious desserts. Enjoy a view of the main stage from the Sam Adam's/ Grafton Street Beer Garden in front of Out of Town News.

    Burt's Bees, maker of earth-friendly people-care products, is buzzing with excitement about bringing the Bee-utify Your World tour to Octoberfest. The Bee-utify Your World Tour will pamper you with enjoyable activities such as relaxing hand massages, the 'Find Your Smile' photo shoot, new Burt's Bees product demonstrations, free samples and great giveaways! 50 people who visit the Bee-utify Your World tour will receive a free sapling tree from Burt's Bees and the National Arbor Day Foundation.     Z Square Cambridge is excited to celebrate our opening in this fun and vibrant neighborhood at Oktoberfest 2006. Chef Paul Sussman will prepare some tasty and delicious samples from the Z Square menu which will be served in front of our restaurant. In addition, we are excited to present a performance by Danny Klein & Friends (a celebration of the J. Geils Band) on the Main Stage at 3:00 pm. Z Square Cambridge, 14 JFK Street.

    The Rotary Club of Cambridge brings a wonderful new children's activity to CHURCH STREET in the form of a Giant Pumpkin Patch where the kids can enjoy supervised pumpkin carving or painting and other fun crafts, face-painting, music by club passim and storytelling.

    The Brattle Theater presents a special free screening a program of Films from the Off the Wall Collection recently donated to the theater. The program runs from 12:00 - 2:30 nonstop. Admission is FREE.
