Urban Interactive Adventure:  “The Lost Shard of the Yard”

A long-lost and highly precious gemstone is believed to be located in Harvard Square.  Can you find it?  Can you penetrate the unknown forces that protect the secrets of the stone?  Perhaps – but not before you match wits with offbeat lawyers and crazed former agents, and navigate a 150-year-old labyrinth of mysterious puzzles. 

Urban Interactive provides live adventures in urban settings:  Be prepared to discover Harvard Square in a whole new way.  Your team of “agents” will report for duty and then embark on a mission.  Equipped with a user-friendly mobile communications device, teams receive guidance and entertaining commentary from our “agency director.”  In completing their missions, teams must rely on keen powers of observation, wit, and teamwork to solve puzzles, search out hidden quirks of the City, and interact with comic characters.  Blending elements of interactive theater, the “Amazing Race” and treasure hunt, this new entertainment genre is like no other. 

Urban Interactive was selected by the Boston Globe’s Globe Magazine as the “Best New Diversion” in 2007.  More important, in our most recently completed season, players gave us an average rating of 4.5, where a rating of 4 corresponded to “I had a lot of fun!” and a rating of 5 corresponded to “I had a total blast!”
