Crema Cafe was born from a desire to bring the charm and character of the cafe culture back to Harvard Square. The atmosphere that the owners have created is welcoming and refreshing. Heart pine floors and other natural materials, a sky-lit mezzanine, communal tables, and exposed brick all add to the feelings of comfort and familiarity that the friendly service and beautiful, simple display of food evoke.

Crema features George Howell & Terroir coffees and MEM teas. An in-house bakery turns out fresh scones, muffins, croissants, and other pastries continuously throughout the day. Made-to-order sandwiches (served on Iggy's bread), salads, and soups are also on the menu, which rotates seasonally to keep flavors fresh and evolving.

The cafe is our definition of a "third place" – a place between home and work where people can feel relaxed and comfortable, yet also connected to the community and the outside world. At Crema you can meet, chat, sip, read, write, watch, think, taste and enjoy in an atmosphere that you simultaneously create and absorb.
