The 34th Annual Cambridge River Festival returns to the banks of the Charles on Saturday, June 1. From noon to 6pm.
The 34th Annual Cambridge River Festival returns to the banks of the Charles on Saturday, June 1st from noon – 6pm. This free celebration of the arts, which attracts 200,000 participants, features jazz, folk, roots and world music performances, dance, art demonstrations, family art – making activities and over 100 specialty food purveyors and artisans.
Highlights this year include:
·Erick Traplin The favorite kids' entertainer in the area
·Ray Xu - Magician - don't take our word for it. Ask anyone who was there. You don't want to miss this guy! (11am till 2pm - then he will DISAPPEAR!)
·Face the Art - Fabulous Bubble show. HUGE bubbles, small bubbles - even kids inside bubbles!! You will POP with excitement!!
·UltaMutts Dog Show ... back for another "howling" good time.
·Free supervised Climbing Wall by Black Rock Climbers.
·Build a birdhouse to take home. There are only 150 available. Wrist bands will be given to the first 150 kids that wish to build a bird house so that they don't have to stand in line.
·Back by popular request - Ultra Mutts trick dog show. A 'howling' good time for the entire family! The dogs have a bunch of new tricks to show you this year.
·Sciensational Sssnakes from Scales Nature Park in Orillia - See the snakes - hear Jenny's fabulous stories!
