Join us to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Harvard Coop, the 75th Anniversary of the Harvard Book Store and the 60th Anniversary of the Display Room of the Harvard University Press and our entire bookstore community!
From 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm Harvard Square will host a Book Store Stroll featuring special readings, events and refreshments inside our bookstores. Be sure to pick-up a Bookish Ball Passport at the Harvard Square Business Association Kiosk in front of Holyoke Center (1350 Mass Ave.) and get as many “stamps” as possible in order to enter to win fabulous prizes including 2 Free Round Trip Jet Blue Tickets AND a Shopping and Dining Spree in Harvard Square.

Culture for Kids – Saturday, June 21st, 2008 – To be held on Palmer Street, a special kids and family music-making event; with workshops and instrument petting zoo and face painters, sing-a-longs, performances and a kid’s parade. This event is free and is part of a year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Club Passim.

Members of the Harvard Square Business Association have joined together to create a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign using PINK themed window displays, PINK DRINKS and PINK SHOPPING opportunities in Harvard Square from July 5th through August 31st. The third annual event changes weekly with new displays, offers and events. The financial donations collected by individual businesses and special events will be tallied and announced after August 31st.
