Pioneering chef, author, and host of television’s “The French Chef”, Julia Child, would have turned 100 on August 15th.  Julia called Cambridge home for many years and played an active role in the culinary scene around the Square… and around the world!  Her longtime publisher, Alfred A. Knopft has created a social media celebration called JC100.   Some of Harvard Square’s best eateries (including some of Julia’s favorite haunts!) will be honoring her Centennial with special menus and promotions inspired by the legend herself.  Bon Appetit!
