The Boston Underground Film Festival arrives in Harvard Square
The Tenth Annual Boston Underground Film Festival hits the ground running in Harvard Square this Easter weekend (March 20-23rd) with screenings at the historic Brattle Theatre and the AMC Harvard Square as well as numerous before, during, and after-parties in several Harvard Square location
s.
This year’s festival will highlight the best in alternative, fringe, cult and truly independent (not Hollywood-lite) cinema. They will be screening a wide variety of features and shorts from around the world focusing on the edgiest dark comedy, drama, horror, experimental, documentary and animation. These films are definitely not coming soon to a theater near you and this may be the only time you can see them on the big screen with an eager appreciative audience!
Individual screenings are $8 general admission, $6 for students and seniors and $75 for an all-access festival pass.
