This studio class, taught by RAUL GONZALEZ, will focus on each person's own unique personal style. Raul does not teach a specific style or approach to drawing, but instead helps guide participants as they develop their own style and introduce them to artists who might be an influence.

Classes are sometimes held in local museums in order to draw in the galleries.

Raul is a professional artist who studied at the University of Texas. He designed the posters, banners and T-shirts for ArtBeat 2007 in Somerville. Gonzalez's work has been exhibited in many galleries including the Rhys Gallery, Bernard Toale Gallery, Tufts Aidekman Art Center and Brookline Arts Center. He has taught at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Brookline Arts Center. He was the art specialist at OUTBACK in summer 2008 and recently illustrated the book, Philosophical Tales, by Martin Cohen and published by Blackwell publishing
